Well, Im guessing his speakers are on and they are producing sounds... or he would be posting not hearing anything instead of only music.
Which area are you in when you are hearing no music? If its post Ascalon... well the music is crap and needs a lot of imagination to recognise it as music.

i was at the ring of fire, and now at balthazar temple. both places has no sound/music. even the log screen doesn't produce any music..

erm... yea.... for future refference and for it to be easier on you, if problems ever arise instead of running here first you should just reboot your GW as this will 'normally' fix smaller problems. ._.

Hmm, try usung the -image function and force your GW to update itself.
EDIT: Well, I guess it solved itself in the end while I was posting. lol
